Went to a baseball game a few days ago. They have a professional league consisting if eight teams in Seoul. The quality of play is decent and a ticket to the game is around five dollars, so the value is good. Additionally, most of the teams seem to have a strong following, so it's a fun atmosphere.
Also went to a coffee shop the other day where you sat and put your feet in a pool full of tiny fish. They nibble on your feet, which is supposed to get rid of the dead skin? It's kind of uncomfortable and ticklish at the time, but I guess my feet felt better after? haha.
Here are some random pictures taken the past few days. I have a few videos which I'll try and figure out how to upload soon.
The venders at the baseball game consisted mainly of old Korean women, which is obviously a bit different than in the US.
Between innings they played a game where all these men competed against each other. They had a race where they would drink a beer , eat a banana and then drink another beer. The guy that one was a bit excited.
After cooking the meet you dip it in an Oil, salt, and a spicy sauce. Put a bit of rice and garlic in the lettuce and roll it up and shove it in your mouth as one bite. The food here is really cheap. As a whole, I'd say it's about half the price with all the food being fresh and cooked instead of prepackaged stuff being heated up.
THis was the view from our first hotel. It was in a pretty bizarre area of town, basically surrounded by small hardware stores and stands. I'm glad we moved to the area we're in now as it's in a great area. I'll take some pictures of the place and area soon.
